Before I bought this product, I tried a different brand of scanner from a friend. It was not my aftermarket security system on my car. After some research I bought the CP9175 Actron. This is a scanner for the incredible what can be done at a great price. He has no problems with my security system after sale, and I like how there is a brief description of the problem shows along with the error code.
